Once we are in the process of building your trusses, we coordinate a final delivery date.

A spec sheet can look confusing at first glance since there is so much information on a page, but they are actually simple to understand once you know how they work.

Click through the slides on the below sample spec sheet to learn about the basic details on a truss print.

It is important to look at the specs carefully when getting quotes from different manufactures. Do not just compare the price, as many people tend to look at the price only and overlook the specs on a truss. If price is important to you, have your different companies design them to the same specs to compare them.

1. What is the lumber size and grade?

2. What is the load rating?

3. What is the CSI?

4. How much added bracing will it take?

5. What are the bearing requirements?

6. What are the panel lengths?

     Always double check when doing a quote:

7. The basic perimeter and specs. (is the span, size, pitch, etc. correct?)
